Description

Business Aligned Infrastructure (BAI) is directly aligned with Corporate Technology Risk and Business Services (CTRBS) for end-to-end infrastructure service delivery. The BAI team delivers customized solutions that address the unique technology drivers of CTRBS while ensuring that centralized products and services are leveraged for their economies of scale. BAI is the primary interface between the Application Development teams and Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI). As an Infrastructure Requirements Analyst, you will work with Technical Architects, Engineers, Application Developers and Project Managers to produce detailed technical design specifications for new/changed system functionality for complex systems in the CTRBS Shared Services Group. You will translate business requirements into detailed technical design specifications. Analyze and document impact of proposed technology to existing architecture. Communicate technical integration decisions, issues and plans with project team. This individual will be responsible for documenting performance and capacity requirements, infrastructure standards and security requirements. Develop flow charts, functional diagrams and descriptions to communicate technical design specifications. Provide input into continuous improvement processes by analyzing operations impacts based on the resolution of issues in existing environments. Responsibilities include:

* Infrastructure Requirements Management:

* Interface with key application stakeholders and Architects and Project Managers to translate business and functional requirements into infrastructure requirements

* Technology Provisioning:

* Review requirements of project teams to provide detailed forecasts of infrastructure needs to align client needs with strategic data center initiatives

* Business Case Development:

* Supports technical solutions with detailed business case based on the interpretation of business requirements

* Test Plan Integration:

* Work with testing teams to develop test scenarios that ensure that testing results correspond to business expectations

* Continuous Improvement:

* Partner with operations teams to review the impact of incident and change events to improve the quality of operations and service offerings


Requirements

* Minimum five years of work experience as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst

* Proven experience writing functional and technical specifications

* Previous experience in Infrastructure Requirements gathering required

* Minimum of three years of experience with systems design and project management methodologies

* Minimum one year of project or resource management skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to work with all levels of personnel

* Solid experience with performance engineering concepts and tools

* Strong Technical Architecture and Middleware technology skills

* Ability to exercise independent judgment Bi-lingual in both Spanish and English. Fluent English, both written and verbal communications, is required.
